Job Title: Retail Supervisor

Report To: General Manager

Summary: The Retail Supervisor understands the opening and closing procedures of the retail operation. The supervisor is adept at handling patient and customer questions and/or concerns effectively and efficiently. The Retail Supervisor is someone who knows how to motivate and corral a team. Handle issues as they arise in a respectful manner. Delegate basic duties, such as cleaning, restocking dry goods, and labeling products. The Retail Supervisor has ownership of the operation in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

· Understands opening and closing dispensary procedures.

· Excellent cash handling skills.

· Proficient in basic math.

· Provide exceptional customer service and a knack for turning problems into opportunities.

· Develop and maintain rapport with patients, customers, vendors, service providers, and staff.

· Ensure guest concerns and/or questions are resolved, handled efficiently, and communicated with management when needed.

· Communicate the effects, testing, dosing, and other pertinent information on cannabis products to the patients and customers.

· Ensure retail operation follows regulations established by the Cannabis Control Commission and standard operating procedures established by In Good Health.

· Fluent in the point-of-sale and payment processing systems.

· Comfortable with computer, tablet, and other device technologies.

· Maintain cleanliness of the dispensary. E.g. dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and sanitization.

· Ensure workstations are neat, organized, and restocked for the next person.

· Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Retail, cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience a plus.

· Must be 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.

· Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Proficient computing skills.

· Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match.

Ability to critically think and problem solve without direction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
